Joe, I have followed and admire your excellent videos! You share a lot of good tips and tricks that I have learnt a lot from. Have ported about 50 chainsaws and still learning😅 I was in need of a 90degree tool, and ordered the 90 degree porting tool from Lucky Dog. After one port on a shainsaw cylinder both of the heads were not working any longer. This product is not a tool for this work and was completely waste of money!😢

What kind of power does a stock X-torq 372 put out? Edit: 5.73 horsepower.

I have a cline husky 365 i put a 372 cylinder kit inside, i haven't had any issues with the saw since i got it back in 2019.

I have a 4920 cuts good what else maters to a home owner cutting a few cords of firewood. If I made a living cutting wood I would have a saw that was 8or 9 hundred dollars instead of 400 bucks

Really love the content. There is a video I would like to see. Take a saw, do a baseline. Machine it and do another dyno pull. Then port it and do the final pull. I am curious as to the gains from machining vs porting. I know the machining changes the port timing but should give some kind of idea. I really like that poulan. And pioneers. And partners. I have a love hate relationship with electrolux😅.

I think I would, after seeing how things worked out on your build, leave the regular carb on it and just do the other mods. I figure it would likely start easier and might use just a little less fuel without too much loss in power in comparison to the complete build that includes the bigger carb. It wouldn't hurt to try it, I figure. But this is just hypothetical since I don't have that saw to try it out on. Great series of videos. 😎👍

Went from a 47 to a 54mm cylinder on a dolmar and it was a huge difference, it also went from 64cc to 84cc doing that so you’d expect a lot from that anyway.

That was interesting. I know the speed of sound increases with heat. I think that would make it difficult to get one to work for that particular application.

There should be an inexpensive way to change the rod for a stronger Rod setup on the 3120

Every video I've ever seen I read the same comments about the big oil debate. Sorry but more oil hurts the octane rating. Any hod rodder knows when you add compression and timing you need more octane. Not less.
